Itinerary

Leaving Bariloche, we skirt Lake Nahuel Huapi along the coasts of the province of Neuquén, we arrive first at Cerro Bayo where we can choose whether to spend the day or make only a brief visit and continue the walk visiting the town of Villa la Angostura.

Cerro Bayo allows us to enjoy winter activities such as Skiing, Snowboarding, culipatín, snowtubing or Snowshoeing, in a familiar and quiet atmosphere.

Can I do activities at Cerro Bayo?

Yes, you can, if you choose to stay on the hill you will have time to ski or do any of the activities offered by the complex, keep in mind that you will not be able to visit Villa la Angostura since the time will not give you for both things. In this case we would look for you in the afternoon when we return to Bariloche.

Do I have to wear snow clothes?

Yes, it is convenient to wear snow clothes.

No. The excursion is designed and organized to visit these two tourist spots.

How much free time will we have in Cerro Bayo?

Once we arrive at the Base of Cerro Bayo you will have time to travel and also ascend to its summit. The approximate free time is 3:00 hs.

Is the tour suspended due to rain/snow?

The excursion is done with all kinds of weather. Rain, snow and intense winds are very common in Patagonia. Although the ascent can suffer interruptions and cuts due to weather conditions.
