Rafting on the Border with Chile

Itinerary

Leaving from the city of San Carlos Bariloche, we head south along the emblematic route 40 to the Villegas River, there we enter a gravel road that borders the Manso River, to our exclusive field with coast to the Manso River, "El Maitén".

There, and after being welcomed with a welcoming coffee, we begin the adventure. Other rafts accompany us, there will always be a healthy rivalry, dotted from raft to raft and undoubtedly many laughs. The route of the rafting to the limit comprises a stretch of ten kilometers that in a zigzag way takes us to safe fun.

At the end of the adventure they will be waiting for us meters from the border with Chile, the transports and our handbags with dry clothes, once changed return to the starting point and enjoy an incredible Patagonian roast in an imposing natural environment. We will return through a landscape that the sunset already has other colors, culminating an adventure that you will not forget.

Professional rafting guides, round trip transfer, breakfast and technical equipment (wetsuit, waterproof jacket, life jacket, paddle and neoprene boots).

Lunch, the “Parador el Maitén” offers several gastronomic options.

What is the age limit and what restrictions are there to make an excursion?

There is no restriction to do this excursion, you must only be over 14 years old for Rafting to the Limit. We are especially careful with this aspect since, for us, your safety is above all.

Do I need to have experience to do any of the excursions?

They will accompany you at all times so that you feel totally safe, and live this outing as the best of your vacation.

What do I need to bring to make the excursion?

In each of our excursions we will give you all the necessary equipment to practice this adventure. Anyway, we recommend that everyone wear some personal effects such as: a towel, extra shoes (that can get wet), a coat on cold days and a swimsuit.

Can rafting be practiced in the rain?

Rafting is an activity that can be done in the rain and does not represent a problem for the development of the descents. Also, remember that the wetsuit will shelter you and protect your body from any weather reality.

In what period is this activity carried out?

Our company is open all year round to answer questions, make budgets, etc. The period of operation for individuals is from September to April inclusive.

Search points : Las Victorias neighborhood, bus terminal, center of Bariloche until km 8 by Bustillo Avenue also of Pioneros Avenue and other points located in the direction of Bolsón.
